ESL Pro League Season 24 to be held entirely online
Tournament operator ESL has officially announced that Season 24 of the ESL Pro League will be held entirely online in Katowice, Poland. To achieve this, the event will be limited to 16 teams (down from 24 in previous seasons), and will last two weeks instead of three.
ESL Pro League Season 24 will feature a 16-team Swiss stage, followed by eight-team Single Elimination playoffs. All matches will be best-of-three, except for the final, which will be a best-of-five.
The statement that the ESL Pro League will take place entirely online applies only to Season 24: the organizers said that they will "continue to explore options for future seasons of ESL Pro League".
ESL Pro League Season 24 will be held from October 3rd to 11th, 2026. The competition will feature 12 squads invited based on the global VRS rankings, with the remaining spots being awarded through regional ESL Challenger Leagues.
