Johnny Speeds signs player from NIP's academy
Swedish esports club Johnny Speeds has officially unveiled the fifth member of its Counter-Strike 2 roster – 20-year-old Jacob "jocab" Nerheden, who has been playing for NIP's youth roster since January of last year. Nerheden recorded an average rating of 1.08 with Young Ninjas.
jocab replaced Liam "Licale" Leckremo, who departed the team after a trial period. Leo "Svedjehed" Svedjehed and coach André "BARBARR" Möller also left the squad yesterday. The former had been benched by the club since October of this year, while the latter had coached Johnny Speeds since June 2025.
Johnny Speeds currently ranks 69th in Valve's official ranking of the world's strongest Counter-Strike 2 teams. The updated squad of Johnny Speeds will compete in European Pro League Series 3, Nodwin Clutch Series 3, and CCT Season 3 Europe Series 12, all taking place in December.
