Four players receive additional EVP awards for 2025

HLTV.org has issued several additional EVP awards for 2025 tournaments in conjunction with the update to its rating system to version 3.0. Notably, the EVP title is secured by players who demonstrated outstanding results at an event but were not named MVP.

For example, Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskiy of NAVI and João "snow" Vinicius of paiN received the award for BLAST Bounty Season 1, MOUZ's Lotan "Spinx" Giladi was named EVP at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, while Vitality's Robin "ropz" Kool was named one of the EVPs at IEM Cologne 2025.

The LAN final of BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1 was held from January 23 to 26 at the BLAST studio in Copenhagen, Denmark. The total prize pool of the competition amounted to half a million US dollars. In the final, Team Spirit bested Eternal Fire with a scoreline of 3:1. Danil "donk" Kryshkovets was chosen the most valuable player of the event.

BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 took place from June 3 to June 22, 2025 in Austin, Texas. The tournament featured a prize pool of $1.25 million, which was divided among 32 squads. In the final, Vitality defeated The MongolZ with a scoreline of 2:1. Mathieu "ZywOo" Herbaut was crowned the most valuable player of the Major.

IEM Cologne 2025 was held from July 23 to August 3, 2025 in Cologne, Germany. The total prize pool of the event was one million US dollars – it was divided among 24 rosters. In the final, Team Spirit bested MOUZ 3-0. Danil "donk" Kryshkovets was chosen the most valuable player of the tournament.
