nitr0 to miss StarLadder Budapest Major 2025

Nick "nitr0" Cannella, IGL of the North American Counter-Strike 2 team NRG, will miss the upcoming StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 due to the birth of his child. Canella will be replaced by team's coach Damian "daps" Steele. The organization officially revealed the news on the X social media account.

Notably, NRG qualified for the first stage of the Major. The team will debut at the event against NIP.

StarLadder Budapest Major 2025 will be held from November 24 to December 14, 2025, with 32 teams competing for a share of $1.25 million in prizes. The organizers previously announced the seedings for the first stage and the event schedule.
