Insider: Gambit plans to return to CS
According to unofficial reports, the Russian esports organization Gambit is considering returning to the pro Counter-Strike 2 scene with a new roster. Insider Vlad "harumi" Radvilovich reported this via his personal Telegram channel.
Notably, Gambit launched its CS:GO squad in 2016. Since then, Gambit's CS teams have won numerous big competitions and earned a combined total of over $3 million in prizes.
Gambit's most recent starting five was signed in 2020: Vladislav "nafany" Gorshkov, Dmitry "sh1ro" Sokolov, Timofey "interz" Yakushin, Sergey "Ax1Le" Rykhtorov, and Abay "HObbit" Khassenov. In 2022, the organization announced the closure of its CS:GO division, while the team moved to the North American club Cloud9.
