Details of StarLadder StarSeries 20 revealed

Tournament operator StarLadder has announced details regarding the 20th season of StarSeries, a tier 1 Counter-Strike 2 event that takes place from September 16-20, 2026, in one of the Schengen countries.

The StarSeries 20 LAN finals will feature eight teams, four of which will be directly invited based on Valve ranking. The remaining four squads will qualify through regional competitions in Europe (two slots), North America (one slot), and South America (one slot). The prize pool for the upcoming event will be half a million US dollars.

Furthermore, the organizers revealed that the a spring event StarSeries 2026 is cancelled due to a conflict with the Summer Major, confirming that another tier 1 CS2 competition will be held in October 2027. The company also plans to host a series of tier 2 tournaments throughout 2026.
