Johnny Speeds replaces Svedjehed
Swedish esports club Johnny Speeds has announced a change to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization has benched Leo "Svedjehed" Svedjehed. Liam "Licale" Leckremo has joined the squad on a trial basis. The official statement from Johnny Speeds claims:
This decision is based on our recent results. We're happy with how far we've come, but we want to do even better.
Leo has been a solid piece of the puzzle, and this is an attempt to try a different dynamic of roles in the team. We will keep evaluating and aiming to take that next step.
Svedjehed has represented Johnny Speeds since April of this year. The Swede's average rating over the past three months is 0.93 (in 103 maps). Licale's previous team was Volt; he departed in July of this year and has been inactive since then.
Currently, Johnny Speeds is ranked 56th among the world's top Counter-Strike 2 teams according to Valve.
Johnny Speeds are now:
William "draken" Sundin
Anton "Sapec" Palmgren
Ludvig "HEAP" Alonso
Jonas "Lekr0" Olofsson
Liam "Licale" Leckremo
André "BARBARR" Möller (coach)
