Official: fnatic parts ways with CYPHER
22-year-old British esports athlete Kai "CYPHER" Watson has departed fnatic's active Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization officially announced the news via its X social media account.
The vacant position in the starting five has been filled by Nikita "jackasmo" Skyba, who previously competed for Passion UA. The 18-year-old Ukrainian joined fnatic on a loan deal that runs until the end of the season.
Notably, CYPHER has represented fnatic since July of this year. With him, the team won the DraculaN Season 1 and Frag Blocktober 2025 LAN tournaments, placed top 8 at Birch Cup 2025, and secured second place at Betclic Clash Summer. fnatic currently ranks 21st in Valve's world ranking.
