In September, CS2's peak player count increases by almost 70,000 users

Counter-Strike 2's average monthly audience has declined slightly over the past month. In September 2025, the game's average player count dropped by 0.27% (approximately 2,500) compared to the previous month.

However, peak player count in September increased compared to August, from 1.502 million to 1.571 million users. The statistics were provided by the analytics service Steam Charts.

Notably, Counter-Strike 2 released several updates in September. In one of them, the developers added a new collection of skins and improved grenade sounds.
