Twistzz joins FaZe

IGL of Liquid's Counter-Strike 2 roster Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken will depart the team after FISSURE Playgrounds 2, which is currently taking place in Serbia. The organization officially announced this via its X social media account.

The 25-year-old Canadian esports athlete will once again join FaZe, the club he represented from 2021 to 2023. Note that Van Dulken has been competing for Liquid since December 2023. It is still unknown who will replace him in the starting five. It was also not specified who exactly Twistzz will replace in the FaZe roster. FaZe will compete with the updated lineup at ESL Pro League Season 22.

FaZe placed 7th-8th at IEM Cologne 2025, did not make it to the LAN finals of BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2 and entered the top 8 at the Austin Major. Liquid, in turn, secured the last place at Esports World Cup 2025, entered the top 8 at BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 2 and did not make it to the LAN finals of BLAST Open London 2025. FaZe currently ranks 11th in Valve's ranking, while Liquid is in the top 29.
