HEROIC benches entire academy roster to form new team
Norwegian esports club HEROIC has revealed that it has put all members of its Counter-Strike 2 youth roster on the bench, with the exception of coach Joonas "doto" Forss. The official statement from the organization reads as follows:
As part of HEROIC’s long-term vision, we are restructuring the Academy to build a clearer path toward the main team. For now, all of our current Academy players will be moving to the bench as we evaluate the next steps and shape the future of the project. At the same time, we don’t want to limit their growth. The players will continue competing in select tournaments as a mix team giving them the chance to showcase their skills, stay sharp, and explore new opportunities while we work on assembling a new roster.
This new structure will place more emphasis on creating a direct pipeline between the Academy and HEROIC’s main roster. With closer cooperation between Academy staff, players, and our main team coach Tobiz, we aim to give young talent a clear framework for development and a tangible opportunity to prove themselves at the highest level.
We are now in the process of assembling a new roster that reflects this vision, and we look forward to sharing more soon.
At the time of disbandment, HEROIC's youth roster was ranked 174th in HLTV world ranking. The team has no VRS points.
HEROIC Academy were:

Rasmus "Scr0b" Poulsen
Andreas "anber" Brandt
David "fnl" Mușuroiu
