NAVI knocks The MongolZ out of IEM Cologne 2025

One more team finished their journey at the IEM Cologne 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, which is taking place in Germany, today.

In the first round of the playoffs, Garidmagnai "bLitz" Byambasuren's squad lost to NAVI with a scoreline of 0:2 (18:22 on inferno, 6:13 on Ancient) and got eliminated from the competition.

The Aleksi "Aleksib" Virolainen-led roster advanced to the semi-finals of the bracket, where they will face Team Spirit for a spot in the final of IEM Cologne 2025. The MongolZ, in turn, placed 5th-6th at the event and earned $40,000 in prize money.

The organizers of IEM Cologne 2025 have another match planned for today: FURIA will face MOUZ in a matchup for advancing to the top 4 of the competition. The match kicks off at 19:00 CEST and will be a BO3. The semi-finals will play out on August 2.
