G2 benches Snax
IGL of G2's Counter-Strike 2 squad Janusz "Snax" Pogorzelski has officially departed the team – the organization benched him. The statement was published on the X social media . The Pole has been competing for G2 since July last year.
According to rumors, fnatic's Matúš "MATYS" Šimko may join G2's Counter-Strike 2 roster. At the same time, Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač will take over as the in-game leader.
Note that last month, 39-year-old Wiktor "TaZ" Wojtas parted ways with G2. Olek "hades" Miskiewicz also announced departure from the European club. Their positions in the team were taken by Eetu "sAw" Sakha and Alvaro "SunPayus" Garcia, respectively.
G2 placed 9th-11th at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The squad currently ranks tenth in Valve's world ranking.
