BIG unveils new coach

29-year-old German esports athlete Robin "ScrunK" Röpke has become the new coach of BIG's Counter-Strike 2 team. The organization officially announced this via its X social media account.

Röpke replaced Sebastian "xenn" Hoch, who had been temporarily acting as the team's head coach for the past few months. At the same time, xenn will retain his role as an assistant coach and head of the BIG academy.

ScrunK's previous team was Fire Flux – he competed for them from August 2024 to June 2025. Before that, the esports athletes worked with HEROIC for several months as an analyst.

Note that BIG lost the qualifier for the recent BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in CS2. At the moment, the squad occupies 34th place in Valve's world ranking.
