Chief Gaming Officer of BIG: "The players will remain, but we have to do a lot to change the structure"

Chief Gaming Officer of the German esports club BIG Roman Reinhardt spoke about the future of the Counter-Strike 2 roster after disastrous results in the first half of 2025. According to Reinhardt, the organization does not plan to make changes to the squad yet.

The roster definitely has potential, but we haven't managed to convert this potential and we have to take responsibility for that.

The players will remain, but we have to do a lot to change the structure and make everything a bit more professional. We still believe in the boys, we believe this is the right path, and we will continue to give the boys a chance to show that, but what will definitely change is the surroundings, the setup.

Note that BIG failed to advance to BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 in the USA. The team placed 12th-14th at PGL Astana 2025, second at MESA Nomadic Masters Spring 2025 and 13th-16th at IEM Melbourne 2025. The roster currently occupies 23rd place in Valve's world ranking.
