ESL announces big CS2 tournament in Krakow

Tournament operator ESL has announced another big Counter-Strike 2 tournament, which is called IEM Krakow 2026 – it will replace IEM Katowice in the calendar of upcoming competitions.

The event is scheduled for the period from January 28 to February 8, 2026 in Krakow, Poland. The final part of the event (playoffs) will play out over three days at the Tauron Arena, where the CS:GO Major from PGL took place in 2017.

IEM Krakow 2026 will be held with the participation of 24 squads – they will share a total prize pool of $1.25 million. The six strongest rosters will compete in front of the live audience in the playoffs at Tauron Arena.
