Two BESTIA players unable to obtain visas for Major

Argentinian esports club BESTIA has reached out to the Counter-Strike 2 community for help in solving the visa issues the team is facing ahead of the Austin Major.

The organization's CEO explained that BESTIA has only managed to obtain the necessary visas for four members of the squad, including sixth player Nicolas "NikoM" Miozzi. Two esports athlete from the starting five, Luciano "luchov" Herrera and Tomas "tomaszin" Corna, are still without visas.

We've been trying to sort out the visa situation for three years but we keep getting turned down. We've used every resource at our disposal and we've spoken with every person we thought could give us important information, with agencies…

We are practicing in Brazil. We went to the embassy for the boys to give it another try and they were once again turned down.

We are now a few hours away from having to confirm that we have completed the process to be able to represent Argentina. Both tomi and lucho have had their visas denied, in theory because they have no reasons to return to Argentina [after the Major].

We want to make it clear that we only want to fulfill our dream, which is to represent Argentina, compete in the most important tournament in the world and then come back home.

The boys have a life here, they have a job. They tried to get a visa with a a letter of recommendation from the government, they had a letter of invitation from the tournament organizer. Regrettably, they didn't even want to receive the papers.

Several esports clubs, including 9z, OG, KRÜ, as well as individual players, have already publicly supported BESTIA via social media.
