Perfecto and s1mple may miss IEM Dallas 2025 – players fail to obtain visas
Apparently, 25-year-old Russian esports athlete Ilya "Perfecto" Zalutskiy will not compete for BC.Game at the upcoming IEM Dallas 2025 Counter-Strike 2. Zalutskiy had problems obtaining an American visa, which he reported via his Telegram channel.
Looks like GG with a visa, I probably won't make it to IEM Dallas 2025. But they promise to issue it before the Major. But I don't believe it anymore, to be honest. Never had problems with other visas, only with this one, but I can't do anything about it :(
Newly-minted member of FaZe's Counter-Strike 2 roster Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev also reported that he might miss the event in Dallas for the same reason.
Looks like I didn't obtain a visa either...
Note that at the end of April this year, Perfecto joined BC.Game's CS2 squad as a stand-in. Zalutskiy noted that his cooperation with BC.Game is only for one tournament – IEM Dallas 2025.
s1mple, in turn, moved to FaZe in early May under a loan deal – he must compete for the Finn "karrigan" Andersen-led roster at IEM Dallas 2025 and BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
IEM Dallas 2025 will be held from May 19 to 25 in Dallas, USA. The total prize pool of the event will amount to $300,000 – it will be divided among 16 teams. The seeding of participants in the group stage can be found via the link.
