ash extends his contract with GamerLegion

Coach of GamerLegion's Counter-Strike 2 team, Ashley "ash" Battye, has signed a new contract with the German club. The organization announced this via its X social media account. The official statement does not specify the duration of the new agreement, but it claims that the contract is multi-year.

The 34-year-old British esports athlete has been coaching GamerLegion for just under five years – since August 2020. The squad has attended four Counter-Strike Majors with him.

Note that GamerLegion recently lost the European regional qualifier for the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The roster is currently competing at IEM Melbourne 2025 in Australia – today the team will face Falcons in a match for reaching the top 4 of the event.
