9 Pandas bench their entire CS2 roster
Esports organization 9 Pandas announced that it benched all of its Counter-Strike 2 roster members after an unsuccessful performance in the European qualifier for the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The official announcement was published on the club's Telegram channel.
After an unsuccessful performance at RMR, the players decided to take a break. The guys put all their zeal and talent into their work to bring us to the Major, but they still failed to qualify. Some of them asked for a chance to reboot and consider other offers. We decided to give them this opportunity – all of the team's members have been benched.
It is important to understand that in esports, the result depends not only on individual performance, but also on the team as a whole. Desire to win together, work together, stick together also matters. When there is no result, motivation decreases, and team connection is gone. I hope that the squad will find the strength to reboot and continue the journey together. If not, as they say, that's life, and we sincerely wish everyone good luck in the new stage.
9 Pandas CEO Julia Sotnikova also once again denied rumors about the complete closure of the organization. "There are many rumors, but the point is that we continue to work. Yes, this is a transitional stage. Yes, it is not easy. But we know for sure: there is something new ahead. And we will show it", Sotnikova added.
9 Pandas are now:
Daniil "d1Ledez" Kustov
Aleksandr "shalfey" Marenov
Evgeny "r3salt" Frolov
Vladislav "Alv" Vorokhobov
Vladislav "Krad" Kravchenko
Artem "Fierce" Ivanov (coach)
