Complexity and 3DMAX drop to lower bracket at IEM Melbourne 2025

Group A participants at IEM Melbourne 2025 played their openers, after which four teams dropped to the lower bracket.

In the first round, Complexity lost to The MongolZ, paiN was defeated by FaZe, 3DMAX got bested by GamerLegion, while BIG lost to MOUZ. All four matches played out in a BO3 format.

The losing teams will face off tomorrow for survival at the competition, while the winners will advance to the next round, where they will fight for a spot in the upper bracket final, which already guarantees a playoff berth.
