HEROIC and Nemiga go undefeated in BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 qualifier
First playday of the European regional qualifier (MRQ) for the upcoming Counter-Strike 2 BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 has ended – the participants played eight matches in the second round of the Swiss stage.
The winners of these matchups are HEROIC, Metizport, OG, Nemiga, BIG, SAW, Astralis, fnatic – they defeated ENCE, BC.Game, 9 Pandas, BetBoom Team, 500, B8, PARIVISION and GamerLegion, respectively.
As a result, four squads (OG, HEROIC, Nemiga, Metizport) finished the first day of the qualifier with a 2:0 match record. On the contrary, GamerLegion, B8, PARIVISION and 500 have not yet won a single match. The remaining rosters currently have one win and one loss under the belt.
The third round matches of the Swiss stage will play out tomorrow, April 15. The participants will be divided into three pools by the number of wins and losses (2:0, 1:1, 0:2); accordingly, the teams will face only the opponents from their pool.

The European qualifier for BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 takes place from April 14 to 17 this year. The Major itself will be held from June 3 to 22, 2025 in Austin, Texas. The tournament will feature a prize pool of $1.25 million, which will be divided among 32 rosters.
