kRYSTAL takes over as ESC coach

German esports organization ESC has announced the signing of Kevin "kRYSTAL" Amend to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The 31-year-old German esports athlete has joined the team as head coach.

Amend previously was an assistant coach at Into the Breach and Guild Eagles. During his entire career as a pro CS player, which lasted from 2011 to 2022, Kevin has earned $129,000 in prizes.

Note that at the end of March of this year, ESC unveiled two new members of its Counter-Strike 2 roster – Denis "Grashog" Hristov and Patryk "olimp" Woźniak. They replaced Martin "maaryy⁠" Nakonieczny ​​and Bartek "mASKED⁠" Trybuła, whom the organization sold to the Turkish club Sangal.

Currently, ESC is ranked 158th among the world's best Counter-Strike 2 teams by the authoritative portal HLTV.org. The squad does not have VRS rating points.
