Entire Eternal Fire roster moves to Aurora
Entire team led by Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli has moved to Aurora. Accordingly, the squad has parted ways with the Turkish club Eternal Fire, which kicked off back in 2021. The official announcement was published on the X social media.
Note that yesterday Aurora benched its entire former Counter-Strike 2 starting five. This decision was made after it failed to score enough VRS points to secure an invite to the European qualifier for BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
Aurora's representative commented on this signing as follows:
It's a great honor to bring such talented players under the Aurora tag. We will create all the key requirements for the team to continue delivering excellent performance, unlock their potential, and lead the squad to new heights.
MAJ3R's squad placed 3rd-4th at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025, 5th-8th at ESL Pro League Season 21 and PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, 5th-6th at IEM Katowice 2025 and second at BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1. Aurora will participate in PGL Bucharest 2025, which kicked off today. The team currently occupies fifth place in Valve's world ranking.
Aurora’s current lineup is:
Engin "MAJ3R" Küpeli
Ismailcan "XANTARES" Dörtkardeş
Ali "Wicadia" Haydar Yalçın
Özgür "woxic" Eker
Samet "jottAAA" Köklü
