Rumors: jambo's transfer cost fnatic $600,000

According to unofficial information, the esports organization fnatic paid $600,000 for the transfer of Dmytro "jambo" Semera from Passion UA. HLTV.org editor Milan "Striker" Švejda reported this.

Earlier, fnatic CEO Sam Mathews himself said that the transfer of the 20-year-old Ukrainian esports athletes was a record for the British club in terms of buyout cost. However, Mathews did not disclose the exact amount.

Insider and scout Alexey "OverDrive" Birukov expressed doubt in the fact that fnatic really paid $600,000 for Semera – the same amount G2 paid for Ilya "m0NESY" Osipov's transfer in 2022.

I don't believe in $600k for jambo. If fnatic had the money, they would have put together something better, not a top-40 roster.

Note that fnatic did not make it to the BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1 LAN finals and lost the qualifier for PGL Bucharest 2025 and IEM Dallas 2025. The squad recently placed second at CCT Season 2 European Series #19. The team currently occupies 29th and place in Valve's world ranking.
