Rumors: Liquid to change coach

According to unofficial information, the Dutch esports club Liquid will soon announce changes in its Counter-Strike 2 roster. This was reported by the author of the Telegram channel Gromov.

According to the insider, coach Torbjørn "mithR" Nyborg will depart the team. It is unknown who will take his place in the roster. The organization itself has not yet made any official announcements on this matter.

The 35-year-old Danish esports athlete has been working with Liquid since July of last year. Before that, he also coached Apeks, MOUZ, Renegades and other squads.

Liquid placed 5th-8th at ESL Pro League Season 21, 9th-12th at IEM Katowice 2025 and 9th-16th at BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1. The roster currently occupies 12th place in Valve's world ranking.
