Falcons and FaZe eliminated from BLAST Open Lisbon 2025

One more playday of BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 in Counter-Strike 2 has ended – today four more squads were eliminated from the event.

In the second round of the lower bracket of Group A, Falcons lost to Virtus.pro (13:11 on Mirage, 16:19 on Ancient, 20:22 on Inferno), while FaZe were defeated by Team Spirit (8:13 on Anubis, 9:13 on Nuke). In the losers of Group B, Liquid fell to The MongolZ (7:13 on Anubis, 8:13 on Ancient), while G2 prevailed over M80 (13:9 on Ancient, 13:11 on Inferno).

The losing teams shared 9th-12th places at the tournament and earned $7,500 in prize money each. The winners, in turn, advanced to the final round of the competition bracket: on March 24, they will face off for a spot in the playoffs.

Note that three squads from each group will qualify for the BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 playoffs: the winners will go straight to the semi-finals, while the rosters that take second and third places will secure berths in quarter-finals. Detailed information about the event can be found via the link.
