Staehr extends contract with Astralis

20-year-old Danish esports athlete Victor "Staehr" Staehr has extended his contract with Astralis. The new agreement will be valid until 2027. The organization announced this via its X social media account.

Staehr has represented Astralis since June of 2023. Before that, he was part of Sprout. Staehr's average rating over the past three months is 1.06 (in 58 maps).

Note that Astralis placed third at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025, 9th-12th at IEM Katowice 2025 and 9th-16th at BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1. The team qualified for BLAST Open Lisbon 2025.

Astralis currently occupies 12th place in the ranking of the world's best Counter-Strike 2 teams according to HLTV. In Valve's ranking, the squad is in the top 10.
