Invites to PGL Astana 2025 announced

Tournament operator PGL has announced the list of teams invited to participate in the upcoming PGL Astana 2025 Counter-Strike 2 tournament, which will take place in May of this year.

Team Spirit, G2, NAVI, Virtus.pro, Astralis and others have received invites to the event (based on Valve's official ranking) – 12 squads in total. The remaining four slots will go to the winners of closed qualifiers in Europe, North America, South America and Asia.

The competition will be divided into two parts: the group stage (Swiss format, BO3 matches, eight strongest rosters advance) and the playoffs (Single Elimination BO3, BO5 in the final).

PGL Astana 2025 will be held from May 10 to 18, 2025 in Astana, Kazakhstan. The total prize pool of the event will amount to $1.25 million, half of which will go to the players and half to the clubs.
