RED Canids unveils new IGL
21-year-old Brazilian esports athlete André "drop" Abreu has officially become the newest member of the RED Canids Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization announced this via its X social media account.
drop replaced Marcelo "nyezin" Ramos as the team's in-game leader. The club added him on a loan deal from paiN in January of this year – accordingly, the player's agreement has now been terminated.
nyezin's average rating over the past three months is 0.92 (in 23 maps); drop recorded a rating of 0.92 (in 31 maps).
Note that from June 2023 to February 2025, Abreu represented MIBR, after which the organization put him on the bench, where he has remained until today. Before that, the player also competed for FURIA.
Currently, RED Canids' CS2 roster occupies 86th place in Valve's world ranking.
