ESL-signed clubs to be able to skip no more than two tournaments per year

Tournament operator will pay out over $11 million to participants in its Counter-Strike 2 competitions in 2025. The company has allocated the same amount for 2026.

$7.5 million will be up for grabs at CS2 events in 2025, of which $3.7 million is prize money, while $3.8 million more is club rewards.

Moreover, ESL has allocated an additional $2.95 million in payments to squads that have signed a contract with the tournament operator. Any club can join this program, but organizations that have signed the agreement will be able to skip no more than two ESL tournaments per year and no more than three competitions in total over two years (although it is possible to decline invites to closed qualifiers).

The contract also states that the agreement may be amended or terminated unilaterally at Valve's request.
