Coach and IGL depart MIBR CS2 roster

Brazilian esports club MIBR announced changes in its Counter-Strike 2 roster immediately after an unsuccessful performance at PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 in Romania. The announcement was published on the organization's official X social media account.

The team benched in-game leader André "drop" Abreu and bid farewell to coach Bruno "BIT" Fukuda Lima. According to drop, the decision to bench him was made on his initiative.

Abreu represented the club since June 2023, while Lima took over as head coach of MIBR just a few weeks ago, on January 8 of this year (before that, he filled the role of the team's strategic coach for over six months).

The organization returned Breno "brnz4n" Poletto, who had been on MIBR's bench, to the team's starting five, since September of last year. Raphael "exit" Lacerda has taken over as MIBR's IGL. The vacant position of coach is rumored to be filled by Jhonatan "jnt" Silva.

MIBR finished the group stage of PGL Cluj-Napoca 2025 with a 1-3 record and failed to advance to the playoffs. Before that, the squad placed 17th-20th at IEM Katowice 2025 and finished last in BLAST Bounty 2025 Season 1. The roster currently occupies 19th place in HLTV ranking.

 MIBR are now:

 Raphael "exit" Lacerda
 Felipe "insani" Yuji
 Rafael "saffee" Costa
 Lucas "Lucaozy" Neves
 Breno "brnz4n" Poletto
