autimatic enters free agency and goes inactive

28-year-old American esports athlete Timothy "autimatic" Ta has parted ways with NRG and officially became a free agent. He announced this via his X social media account.

At the same time, autimatic does not yet plan to return to the Counter-Strike 2 pro scene – the player intends to take a break from his career.

As for whats next I'm taking a break from competition. Felt like I slowly lost myself throughout the last 3 years because of the grind and the constant struggles. Need to reset before I can positively contribute to a winning team. For some reason I feel like part of that means making content and playing golf. Hope you guys continue to support me.

Ta competed for NRG from March to November 2024, after which the club benched him. Before that, Timothy represented Evil Geniuses, Gen.G, Cloud9 and other famous teams. During his entire career as a Counter-Strike pro, which began in 2012, he earned $466,000 in prize money.
