maxster departs NIP
20-year-old Swedish esports athlete Max "maxster" Jansson entered free agency today. NIP officially announced this via its X social media account.
Today, we are announcing that maxster and NIP have come to an agreement regarding the termination of his contract. We part ways with maxster feeling confident we will meet again on the server. Show 'em what you got, Super Max!
Jansson represented NIP from March to December of last year, while before that he spent about two years in the club's youth CS2 squad. At the same time, maxster stopped competing for the team back in October 2024 – due to health issues, the Swede missed several tournaments, including RMR, while in December the organization benched him. Max's average rating during his stints with NIP amounted to 1.03.
Note that in mid-January, the Swedish esports club unveiled its updated Counter-Strike 2 roster – it was headed by Falcons' former IGL Marco "Snappi" Pfeiffer.
