fnatic unveils new coach

38-year-old Danish esports athlete Peter "casle" Ardenskjold took over as the head coach of fnatic's Counter-Strike 2 squad. The British club announced this via its X social media account.

Ardenskjold replaced Jamie "keita" Hall, who had worked with the team for over three years – the team parted ways with him a month ago. Moreover, Miks "Independent" Siliņš retained his position as assistant coach on the team.

Note that yesterday fnatic officially rounded out its Counter-Strike 2 starting five – Rodion "fear" Smyk and Denys "Burmylov" Buraga joined the lineup.

fnatic secured the last place at Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 in China and earned $10,000 in prize money. At the moment, the squad occupies 28th place in ranking of the world's best Counter-Strike 2 teams according to HLTV.
