Swedish esports organization NIP has once again announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster – Fredrik "REZ" Sterner parted ways with the club today. The statement was published on the X social media.

The 26-year-old Swedish esports athlete represented NIP for seven and a half years – since June of 2017. During his entire career as a Counter-Strike pro player, which kicked off in 2015, he earned $462,000 in prize money. Sterner joined GamerLegion.

Note that last month NIP benched Max "maxster" Jansson – he stopped competing for the team in October of 2024 due to health issues. Instead, Jacob "jocab" Nerheden represented the squad as a stand-in.

NIP entered the top 8 in the Europe RMR for Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 and did not qualify for the Shanghai Counter-Strike 2 Major. The roster currently occupies 31st place in HLTV ranking.
