FaZe's David "frozen" Čerňanský secured tenth place in the ranking of the strongest Counter-Strike 2 players of 2024 according to the authoritative portal HLTV.org.

Among the main achievements of the Serbian esports athlete in the past year are the victory at IEM Chengdu 2024, second place at IEM Katowice 2024, PGL Major Copenhagen 2024 and Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, as well as third at BLAST Fall Final 2024. Čerňanský received the EVP title at IEM Katowice 2024, IEM Chengdu 2024 and PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.

frozen's average rating at the end of the year was 1.13. The HLTV.org authors noted David for his good performance in pistol rounds, one of the highest rates of successful clutches, and a high rating at the biggest events of the year.

Notably, HLTV.org has been publishing the top 20 Counter-Strike 2 players of the past year every day since December 25. The three strongest esports athletes will be revealed on January 11 at the HLTV Awards 2024 ceremony. The winner of 9th place will be unveiled tomorrow, January 5, at 20:00 CET. The 11th place in the rating went to Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov.
