Perfect World announces CS Asia Championships 2026

Tournament operator Perfect World has announced a new, fifth tournament in the CS Asia Championships series – it is scheduled for the period from May 18 to 24, 2026. The announcement was published on PW's X social media account.

Previous CAC events were held in 2018, 2019, and 2023. The fourth competition will take place in October 2025. Previous championships played out with the participation of eight squads, while 16 teams will compete at CAC 2025.

No details about CS Asia Championships 2026 are yet known, except that it will be held in China. It is likely that some rosters will have to miss the event, since the day before it kicks off, on May 17, the tournaments from ESL and PGL will end.

Note that last year Perfect World held the second Counter-Strike 2 Major – Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024. The event took place from November 30 to December 15 in Shanghai, China. The total prize pool of the competition amounted to $1.25 million.
