BERRY takes over as 9INE head coach
Former coach of the Portuguese team SAW Danny "BERRY" Krüger has been appointed as the head coach of 9INE's Counter-Strike 2 team. The announcement was published on the organization's X social media account.
Note that from July to October of this year, Krüger coached SAW, while before that he worked with Sprout. In October, the Dane came to 9INE for a trial period – now he has signed a full-fledged contract with the club.
Notably, two and a half months ago, 9INE's CS2 starting five was departed by coach Mikołaj "miNirox" Michałków. This decision was made by mutual agreement of the parties, while its reason was unsatisfactory results. Moreover, in early December, the organization benched Kévin "misutaaa" Rabier and Alexandru "s0und" Ștefan. They were replaced by Jonatan "bobeksde" Persson and Josef "faveN" Baumann.
9INE failed to qualify for any Counter-Strike 2 LAN tournaments in 2024. The team currently holds 66th place in HLTV ranking.
9INE are now:
Ismail "refrezh" Ali
Rasmus "raalz" Steensborg
Mateusz "mantuu" Wilczewski
Jonatan "bobeksde" Persson
Josef "faveN" Baumann
Danny "BERRY" Krüger (coach)
