HLTV: HeavyGod to move to G2

Cloud9's Nikita "HeavyGod" Martynenko may join G2's Counter-Strike 2 roster. HLTV.org reported this, citing its own sources.

According to media reports, negotiations between the two organizations are already close to completion. If the transfer takes place, HeavyGod will replace Nikola "NiKo" Kovač, who, in turn, will move to Falcons.

The 22-year-old Israeli esports athlete has represented Cloud9 since July of this year, before which he competed for OG, Endpoint, and other teams. Martynenko's average rating over the past three months is 1.23 (in 24 maps).

Note that G2 finished the recent Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 in 3rd-4th place and earned $80,000 in prize money. Currently, the roster occupies first place in HLTV.org ranking.
