Insider: Wildcard assembling CS2 academy

According to unofficial information, the American esports club Wildcard is assembling a youth roster for Counter-Strike 2. This was reported by the author of the Telegram channel Gromov. The organization itself has not made any official announcements on this matter yet.

According to the insider, at the moment, the Wildcard academy features five players and a coach from Europe, namely: Kacper "Bambosh" Szlachta, Samuel "MahaR" Horáček, Michal "T4gg3D" Vrzal, Tiago "TMKj" Martins, Leo "Wonder" Wänlund and Łukasz "splawik" Jahns. The latter should take the position of coach in the roster.

Note that Wildcard's main Counter-Strike 2 team took 15th-16th place at the recent Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 in China – the squad earned $20,000 in prize money. The roster currently occupies 20th place in HLTV ranking.
