Rumors: BIG to replace syrsoN

According to rumors, Florian "syrsoN" Rische will not compete for BIG in the next competitive season – the esports athlete's contract with the club is about to expire. HLTV.org reported this, citing its own sources.

According to media reports, the German organization will bench Rische, adding Marcel "hyped" Köhn, who previously represented the youth squad of BIG, while in February 2024 moved to ALTERNATE aTTaX on a loan deal, in his place.

The club itself reported that the team is currently considering various options, and the final decision on the roster will be made later. syrsoN has represented BIG since February of this year. The German's average rating over the past three months is 0.99 (in 46 maps).

Note that BIG took 15th-16th place at the recent Counter-Strike 2 Major in Shanghai, having been eliminated from the tournament in the Elimination Stage. The squad earned $20,000 in prize money. The team currently occupies 19th place in HLTV ranking. Yesterday, Rigon "rigoN" Gashi officially departed the roster.
