Youngest and oldest CS major winners unveiled
FaZe's IGL Finn "karrigan" Andersen remains the oldest Major winner in Counter-Strike history – the Danish esports athlete won PGL Major Antwerp 2022 when he was 32 years old.
The top 3 by this stat also includes Dan "apEX" Madesclaire and Peter "dupreeh" Rasmussen – they won BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023 at the age of 30+. Rounding out the top five oldest champions are Danylo "Zeus" Teslenko and Mihail "Dosia" Stolyarov, which won PGL Major Kraków 2017 when they were 29+ years old.
Danil "donk" Kryshkovets is the youngest Major champion in the history of the Counter-Strike pro scene: the Russian esports athlete won Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 at the age of 17 years and 324 days, breaking the previous record of Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye.
The list of the youngest winners also includes Jesper "JW" Wecksell, Valeriy "b1t" Vakhovskiy and Ihor "w0nderful" Zhdanov. The statistics were shared by HLTV.org.
