BLAST Bounty Season 1 participants announced

Tournament operator BLAST has announced the list of participants for the upcoming BLAST Bounty Season 1 tournament – invites to the event were issued based on Valve's official ranking.

Direct invites went to 28 of the strongest squads in the world, as well as Falcons, which was invited to BLAST Bounty Season 1 via the Wildcard system, which guarantees that each region will have at least one representative at the competition.

BLAST Bounty Season 1 will be held from January 13 to 26 in a Single Elimination format. The first two rounds of matches will play out online. The eight strongest rosters of the tournament will travel to Copenhagen, Denmark. The final of the event will be a BO5 match.

Note that the highlight of the BLAST Bounty series tournaments will be the bounty on each team, appointed by the organizers according to the seeding in the bracket. The winner will take half of the defeated opponent's bounty; the remaining 50% will be carried over to the next match as the winner's bounty.
