Rumors: paiN to replace lux

According to unofficial information, Lucas "lux" Meneghini will soon depart paiN's active Counter-Strike 2 roster – the organization will bench him. Dust2 Brasil reported this, citing its own sources.

According to media reports, a potential replacement for Meneghini could be David "dav1deuS" Tapia Maldonado, who is currently on RED Canids' bench.

lux has been representing paiN since August of last year. The 22-year-old Brazilian esports athlete has recorded an average rating of 1.16 (in 70 maps) over the past three months.

paiN placed 12th-14th at the recent Counter-Strike 2 Major in Shanghai, getting relegated from the tournament in the Elimination Stage. The squad earned $20,000 in prize money. The team currently occupies 14th place in HLTV ranking.
