Dates for BLAST Rising qualifiers announced

Tournament operator BLAST has announced new details about the open online Counter-Strike 2 tournaments from the new series called BLAST Rising, scheduled for next year.

The competition will be held in three regions – Europe, North and South America, Asia. The events will kick off with open qualifiers, from which the four strongest squads will advance to the closed stage of the qualifying cycle, where they will be joined by 12 invitees.

The four winners of the closed qualifiers will advance to BLAST Rising Finals, where they will compete against four invitees for one ticket (from each of the aforementioned regions) to BLAST Open.

In Europe, the open qualifiers for the first season will take place on February 4th, while the closed ones – on the 5th, 6th and 7th. The final will be held from February 8th to 9th, while the invites will be issued on the 3rd of the same month. For Season 2, invites will be determined on July 14th; open qualifiers will play out on the 27th and closed qualifiers – on July 29-31; the final is scheduled for August 1-3, 2025.
