TSM disbands CS2 roster

American esports club TSM has completely disbanded its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization officially announced this via its X social media account.

Three members of the team were benched – Frederik "acoR" Gyldstrand, William "sirah" Kjærsgaard, and Rasmus "Zyphon" Nordfoss. The remaining players – Valdemar "valde" Bjørn Vangså and Nikolaj "niko" Kristensen – departed the club as free agents along with coach Allan "Rejin" Petersen.

"Our ultimate goal was to build a team ready to compete by 2025. And while we gave it our all to secure the players we had our eyes on, we ultimately fell short" – the former coach of the team Rejin commented on the announcement.

At the same time, the organization promised to consider various options for assembling a new squad for the next competitive season in Counter-Strike 2.

TSM placed 12th-14th in the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR and did not qualify for the Major in Shanghai. At the moment, the roster occupies 57th place in HLTV ranking. The organization recently disbanded its women's CS2 team.
