G2 and Team Spirit lose their openers at Major

First round of Elimination Stage at Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 has ended in Shanghai. The participants of the second stage of the Major played the first eight matches in a BO1 format.

The following teams kicked off their journey in the Elimination Stage with victories: NAVI, Vitality, MOUZ, FaZe, HEROIC, The MongolZ, FURIA and MIBR. They defeated Liquid, GamerLegion, paiN, Wildcard, BIG, G2, Team Spirit and 3DMAX, respectively.

The second series of matchups in the second stage of Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 will also take place today: the winners of the opening matches will face the winners, while the losers will fight against the losers. The matches will play out in a BO1 format.
