KRÜ kicks coach after RMR failure

Argentinian esports club KRÜ announced changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster after an unsuccessful performance in the qualifier for Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024.

The organization has been farewell to coach Gustavo "yel" Knittel, who has been working with KRÜ for the past few months, since June 2024. It is not yet known who will replace him in the team.

The Brazilian esports athlete himself said that for him, as well as for the KRÜ players, this decision of the club was a big surprise:

Durante these four months of hard work together with the players, who, like me, were taken by surprise by this news, I worked hard to achieve the goals that were set since I joined, surpassing all the objectives for this year, which makes this decision all the more unexpected to me.

KRÜ finished their journey at the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Americas RMR with one win and three losses. The team bested Nouns, but suffered losses to MIBR, Liquid and Imperial. Thus, the squad will miss the upcoming Shanghai Counter-Strike 2 Major. The roster currently occupies 69th place in HLTV ranking.

 KRÜ are now:

Roberto "reversive" Themtham
Marcos "deco" Amato
Eduardo "laser" Chshekin
Joaquin "atarax1a" Biglieri
Sebastian "righi" Righi
