Rumors: Sangal looking in CIS for new AWPer
According to unofficial information, Dawid "SaMey" Stańczak will soon depart the Sangal Counter-Strike 2 roster. Insider Vlad "harumi" Radvilovich reported this via his Telegram channel.
SaMey joined Sangal in May of this year. Before that, the 24-year-old Polish esports athlete competed for Anonymo/ex-Anonymo. Stańczak's average rating over the past three months is 0.94 (in 46 maps).
It is still unknown who will fill the vacant spot in the starting five. According to Radvilovich, Sangal is currently "interested in AWPer from the CIS". The club itself has not yet made any official statements.
Sangal finished Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024 Europe RMR A with a 1:3 record. The squad bested UNiTY, but were defeated by MOUZ, Cloud9 and ECLOT. Thus, the team lost all chances to advance to the upcoming Shanghai Counter-Strike 2 Major.
Sangal are now:
Linus "LNZ" Holtäng
Simon "yxngstxr" Boije
Samet "jottAAA" Köklü
Yasin "xfl0ud" Koç
Dawid "SaMey" Stańczak
Jimmy "Jumpy" Berndtsson (coach)
